1. We can only choose to take responsibility for something. No one else can assign responsibility to us.
2. Accountability means we are liable or answerable for our actions to someone or some authority.
3. We take responsibility ourselves but, on the other hand, we are held accountable by someone else.
4. The state of having the duty, to do whatever it takes to complete the task, is known as responsibility. The condition, wherein a person is expected to take ownership of one’s actions or decisions, is called accountability.
5. Responsibility refers to the obligation to perform the delegated task. On the other hand, answerability for the consequence of the delegated task.
6. Responsibility is delegated but not completely, but there is no such thing like delegation of accountability.
7. Responsibility is something, wherein a person is held responsible before or after task. In contrast to, accountability where a person can only be accountable after the task is performed or not performed satisfactorily.
