Media Literacy is not teaching with media, it’s teaching about media.
For example, when you ask Google for some information about the restaurant, the answer you get is based on the database of restaurants Google has plus your earlier queries on Google and your online footprints.

There are two key parts to it:

  • First one is the framework one uses to access & evaluate messages in various forms. The message can be in print form, video form, Facebook advertisement, Google advertisement etc.
  • The second one is about skills of expressing your message in various forms. Know very well that message you shall send shall be refined and further customized based on the user preference and his online history.
