What is an Internship?

I Define internship as the process which has the potential to transform the lives of Young Achievers by mentoring them, training them, giving them exposure and most importantly installing a New Zeal in them about themselves.
This might be the second life for many of the Interns as they might regain their lost confidence or sharpen their Life Skills.
However one defines it, it is a game changer experience, and I have seen myself many transformations post-internship.
An Engineer from Bangalore started his own Venture, A Person who did know anything about new technology became the master of it and even started helping other to learn, a person who was afraid of Trekking, trekked to the Everest Base camp, etc.

Internship Potential to Impact one’s Life

As Internship has significant potential to transform one’s life, it needs to be planned very carefully.
By Virtue of my Role as E-Mentor and Guide to various managers and leader, I see a lot of Graduates looking for an internship without being very clear on the outcome. Some just do an internship for the sake of gaining Certification, and I wonder what shall be the use of the Certificate if it does not impact you professionally and personally. First It's important for you to understand What is Internship?
When I ask some of the new graduates what is it that they are looking for in the Internship? , Most of them are unsure, and some of them who are little sure have a blurred vision of the outcome which is really worrying.
