What is Training?

Training is somewhat where you are in the learning process. you are getting train by the professionals to master in that field. in training, you learn the basic core concepts. in training mostly you are new to the things. so this is basically pure learning process. Training constitutes a basic concept in human resource development. It is concerned with developing a particular skill to the desired standard by instruction and practice.




What is an Internship?

An internship is that when you complete any course training, now its time to apply it practically. at that time you join any company who offers an internship to work on live projects, so whatever you learn in your training period now you are applying it in practice. an internship can be of 3/6 months. after completing an internship you will get the certificate of completion, but no salary or some perks only.

This is the type of activity which involves students from different universities who have never been part of a practical environment. The main aim is to make sure these students get proper knowhow of how things are done in a company so that, when they join the practical world, they have the idea of some sort. 



Key Differences Between Training and Internship:


1. Training is a program organized by the companies for their employees for improving their skill, performance, and ability while Internship is a job training given to the students for giving them real-world experience about the workplace.
2. The internship lasts for a fixed period of 2-3 months while training can be variable from a few weeks to several months depending on the type of work.
3. Rules and Regulations of the company are applied to the trainees but not to the interns.
4. Business-related fields have the compulsion of internships while fields like engineering and medical put their emphasis on training.
5. After the completion of the training, the trainees get job placement while no job is given to the interns.
