One Should Only do Internship with Big Companies. The internship is your opportunity to showcase your talent and contribute. While a Big company might pay you well but during the internship, your focus should be on learning skills both personal and professional by getting more exposure.

Your Internship cannot be Customized. While there may be a framework in place to assign a project to you but you can always ask for additional responsibilities and project participation. this shall ensure that you get good learning during the internship.

Internship Will lead to Job. The internship may or may not lead to Job as it depends on Organization Goal and Manpower plan. However, it is sure that your chance to apply for open positions with the Organization Increases much fold and if you have made a good network with Employees, you have a good chance of referrers and recommendations.
