Internship doesn’t have the fun element: Many Students believe that once they sign up for the internship, it is all work and work. This is also a big Misconceptions About Internship. Many companies have Team Outings and Offsite meetings which gives a chance to network with other experienced employees of companies and have fun. During one of my earlier team outings with our interns, we came to know them more closely and it helped the interns to enhance their network and learn in an informal environment.

You can do whatever you want during the Internship. This is a big Misconceptions About Internship. While you have flexibility, you get assigned for a role in the team and you should make all efforts to fulfill your commitment. When you are playing, playing to your full and get the best benefit from the internship.

One Should Only do Internship with Big Companies. The internship is your opportunity to showcase your talent and contribute. While a Big company might pay you well but during the internship, your focus should be on learning skills both personal and professional by getting more exposure. Typically in the startup or small companies, your exposure increases multi-fold and can serve you better.
