You Must Know That Shall Boost Your Job.
Most of the students focus on mastering the contents of the study curriculum. Some of them work hard and get a good score as well. However, that may not necessarily provide a great result as the context in which they have to apply this content knowledge is changing at a very fast pace.
One can no longer plan to be in the same organization and in the same job for years together as it used to be the case a few years back. Today you might be doing one role and after one or two years, you might be asked to perform a different role based on the need of the company or environment.
On an Average Workers change jobs every 4 to 5 years and that shall need one to master the Adaptability skills which might be more helpful than the technical skills.

Scenario One: –

Mr. Golu joined the Blue Chip Company as Technician in the I.T Stream. After some time, he was made to check quality aspect of a new product which required him to quickly learn the Quality assessment tool which he did to retain his job as well to remain needed by the company. His friends who did not participate in this new project were asked to leave. His friend Shiny left the organization and went back to go for higher studies to enhance her skill set. To her dismay when she came out of the Higher studies she found the same gap between what she mastered in the studies and what was the demand of the organizations.
From offices to Co-working Spaces, From Computer typing to tab typing or touch typing, we are witnessing a lot of changes.
If you are changing your job or role once in three to four years, one cannot take teamwork or collaboration skills lightly. Better you are as a team worker better your chance to gain significance in the team and better your chance to proceed ahead in your career.
