Live Projects: Stepping From Controller environment of Educational Institutions to Live Environment of Marketplace and Workplace can give you firsthand experience of so many areas you have never dream of. This experience can teach you valuable insights about Market, people, technology, etc. When I started my Internship with Lotus Notes Trainer, little did I know that by interning for three months shall take me to Switzerland to implement Global Project in the year 2000.
Network: When you work for organization your network grows exponentially. You meet people who can play a key role in directing you toward the right career for you, and this can be the most valuable outcome from your internship. Once You connect rightly, this network shall be with you throughout your life. Over the years, I have made friends from Across the Globe, You name a country, and I shall have one or two connect there.
Personal Image: When You get recognized for the job well done, you feel proud of yourself and that gives you boost to stretch yourself more and take on more significant responsibilities. This kind of experience can boost your image in a big way.
Team Orientation: During Internship, you get the opportunity to work with people from various personal and social backgrounds. One skill you pick up from these opportunities is Team Orientation. Working as a team is entirely different from working as an Individual Contributor, and this is a valuable skill to be honed during the internship.
Communication Skills: Communicate what you know in the right way can be very impactful and Internship exposure helps you to work on your communication skills. Be it presentations at the end of the project or participating in customer presentation, all lead to exposure which plays a vital role in shaping your career.
